    Dear Parents/Guardians,

We bring to you greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus. We appreciate the Lord God Almighty for His grace and mercy toward all of us throughout this term. We also thank you for your immense support and solidarity. We reassure you that your efforts are not wasted but rather rewarding.

The academic tone of the school remains high. The students responded positively to teaching and learning, and many performed excellently.

We bless the name of the Lord for the successful completion of all external examinations, for both SS3 and JS3 students and the release of WASSCE results. Although we are yet to receive the hard copy, the results we have seen so far are impressive.

On the other hand, termly examination has been concluded. The students wrote under a conducive atmosphere and the results have been uploaded. We enjoin you to go through your child’s / ward’s result to discover her areas of weaknesses, so that you will tighten all loose ends before next session.

The holiday is usually a period parents leave their children on their own. We use this medium to encourage parents to endeavour to keep their children busy with programmes such as youth Christian programmes, summer school, skill acquisition training programmes etc. We also advise that you monitor where they go, the company they keep and what they watch on the screen. We request that parents should endeavour to spend quality time with their children for positive bonding.

We also implore you to look into your children’s school wear such as the school uniforms, sports outfit, hostel dress, cardigans, ceremonial wear, Cortina, school hat and sports foot wear. If you notice that your child has outgrown hers, please endeavour to use the holiday period to purchase new ones.

We also use this medium to inform the parents of students who completed JS3 that they are required to purchase new set of school uniform for Senior Students.

Please be reminded that all uniforms are available in school. No student is permitted to make uniform elsewhere as such uniforms would be seized.

we appreciate our parents who promptly paid their children’s school fees last session. We enjoin you to cooperate with us by paying your children’s school fees as this will enable us run the school smoothly. We are praying for you trusting that our God will definitely do you good in Jesus name.

Note: our fees remain the same.

    Thus boarders – N 70,000.00

    Day students   – N 40,000.00

Note: if you wish to pay using bank draft, raise it in favour of United Church Women. If on the other hand you are to pay using teller, here are the details:

    ACCOUNT NUMBER: 0014129541

We use this medium to inform parents whose children/wards are in JS3 and SS3 that extension classes commenced last term and would continue until they start their external examinations. This is to enable us prepare them adequately. Consequently, they are required to pay    N 5000 cash to the bursary department on return next term.

We have observed that despite all pleas to parents and warning to our students, some of them come to school with phones, games, indomie, food condiments, mufti, coloured singlets etc. We once again use this medium to emphasize that these items are not tolerated amongst our students. The problems they cause cannot be overemphasized. Be reminded that any of them seized would not be returned.

Endeavour to trim your child’s/wards hair very low on return next term. Please be reminded that failure to do that, we would be compelled to do that our own way.

On return the students are expected to submit the following:

    JS2 – cowbwebing broom

    JS3 – scrubing brush (long)

    SS1 – detergent OMO /WAW (900g)

    SS2 – disinfectant Izal/isol (1litre)

    SS3 – mop stick

Note: In addition, all students are required to submit 2 toilet rolls each.

Parents are to provide drinking cups and a set of cutleries to their children / wards in case they are lost. (Boarders)

We still have vacancies for the above category of students, forms are still available. We encourage you once again to be our mouth piece and inform your friends.

School resumes for the next academic session on Saturday 15th September 2018, not later than 5:30pm for boarders and Monday 17th September 2018 for day students. Be reminded that failure to resume on the said date attracts a fine of N5,000.00 each.

Note: All school prefects are expected back on 11th September, 2018 in order to receive new students.

Please be reminded that 2018/2019 is a new session. Hence, the students are required to pay N1000.00 cash to the bursary for new scratch card to enable them assess results and other necessary information from our website. throughout next academic session.

Be also reminded that we have our branded exercise books. No student is permitted to buy elsewhere.

Assess the list of books from the website. Meanwhile, books are available in school for those who prefer to buy from school.

We use this medium to inform you of our Facebook page. We enjoin you to like our page here - https://web.facebook.com/ladyibiam

Please be reminded that our school organizes her annual thanksgiving at the end of each year

We sincerely appreciate you for your support, prayers and encouragement. We are looking forward to another fruitful season.
